All-Star Softball

I am really excited to start All-Star Softball! I got chosen to be an alternate by my coach.

I will get to go to all the practices and maybe be in some games! The girls on my team are really really good. The practices are two hours long but it's a good workout. I can't wait to have lots of practices and watch the games! Softball rules!

Chorus Performance

Today I have a chorus performance at school! I am so excited to sing lots of songs. Some of the songs we are singing are Respect, by Aretha Franklin, Happy Together by The Turtles, and also many more! I love to sing! We have been practicing many months. During school time we were on stage singing to all our friends. Tonight, we we'll sing in front of our family. My mom is going to curl my hair and I am going to wear a santa hat! I can't wait!

Merry Christmas!

In 12 days it is Christmas! It is my favorite holiday and also season. I enjoy the decorations and the holiday joy. I also love getting presents . . . . but we should always give too. My sister had a fit when we went to see Santa Claus, so I don't really know what she wants. My brother wants nunchucks. I don't know why but he does. Honestly I really didn't ask Santa for anything. I guess I'm crazy because when I told Saint Nicholas that I didn't want anything for Christmas he kind of looked at me funny. Well anyways I hope you all have a great Christmas! Happy Holidays!

My trip to Tahoe

Sorry I was not on my blog for awhile. I was busy with a trip I went to and lots of other stuff. I went to Tahoe. My friend and I went. So did my brother's friend. We had a good time. My friend helped me play a new song on the piano. The song sounded very pretty. Then we decided to make a movie for Harry Potter. That was really fun too. Then we went to the pool. We swam for a long time. After we swam in the pool we went in a super large hot tub. It was really warm. We also went to an arcade while we were at the pool. Then we went to a place called North Star. We went on this jumping thing. It made me feel dizzy. Then we went roller skating. I was pretty good at it for my first time. But eventually we had to go. I hope I can go on another trip with my friend!

My first writing in my journal!

I got a new journal! It is really cool. I am going to tell you about why I want to become a writer. It all started when I was watching this movie. It was called Harriet the Spy. She wanted to be a writer and that's what she became. She wrote everything she heard and she wrote everything she'd seen. Basically that's spying, but of course I would never spy it's just uh . . . never mind. Well anyways that's when I wanted to become a writer to. I also have my own typewriter and everything! I can't wait to write more in my journal and on my typewriter!

The best play date ever!

Today I had a play date with my friend. First we went to get ice cream. I had a vanilla milkshake. She had rocky road. We went and played at her house. She taught me how to play a song on the piano. At first it was kind of hard but then I got better. Then we played with her dog Romeo. After that we played Harry Potter. It was so much fun! She had costumes we could wear to play it. Sadly I had to go, but at the end of the month we get to have another play date! I can't wait to go to her house again.

Today's Adventure's

Today I went outside to play and I saw a ladybug on the screen door. It was red and it had six dots. I took it off the screen and let it crawl on me. Then it flew away. "Bye" I said to the ladybug. Then I saw a butterfly. It was flying very fast. I tried to catch it with my hand but I missed. So my mom gave me a bug catcher. I tried seven times before I caught it. Then I decided to let it go but it wouldn't fly away. So I took my finger and put it in the bug catcher. The butterfly crawled on my finger then flew away. Then I said to the butterfly, "Good-Bye!" Next I went inside. My mom said I could use a camera so I could take pictures and put them on my blog. I took lots of pictures. I took pictures of my brother and my sister. I even took pictures of my hairless cats! They looked funny when I took a picture of them. I took a picture of them having a picnic. I'm going to post a picture of that on my blog. I hope you like my picture of them. Those are the best adventures I have had today!
